Grizzly Man

Lance survived as a hero, Timothy didn't make it, he died as a hero, both of them fight for what they believe in. Tim is a pretty controversial person. He started as a good boy in highschool with scholarship, but ended up hanging out with the "wrong people" and started to use drug. He felt being deserted and the world being "cold". He went to Alaska and found that the fearsome bears are actually more friendly than the human society. So he decided to stay and spend time with the bears, watch them, play with them, protect them. I believe that Tim started his life with bears trying to fill the huge void in his heart. The ultimate danger made him feel so real. It is like a person numbed by drugs usually seek for more excitemnet. This is what I tend to believe and sorry Tim, if I get you wrong. But at the same time I believe what matters is not how a person starts but how he ends. During more than a decade of time, he is sober, more sober than ordinary people. Maybe he is crazy, but still he is sober.
His action became not just pure seeking thrill, but something meaningful. He was not craving for death, on the contrary, he strived to live. You can never realize how important life is, unless you know it can be taken from you at ANYTIME. And still Tim risked his life, lived in the open wild, with his bear friends. He fully understood that he could be killed, but he would peacefully accept it if it is inevitable. If I die, I die, as long as for a meaningful thing that I am aware of.
